Yeah, the SOTT video absolutely sucks. I remember being really excited to see it, thinking it'd be this great video showing apocalyptic footage or something. Then all we get is just the lyrics flashing across the screen. 
Isn't the When 2 R In Love video the same type deal? The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

I haven't seen any recent videos, but I seem to recall that "Betcha By Golly...Wow" was pure fromage.
The video for 7 was not a work of art either. | |

SOTT - crazy thing is, I know people who REALLY LIKE this second rate screensaver of a "video". I think it's crap. (double for "when 2 r in love", which is a cheap version of the SOTT video - as if you could get cheaper than words on a screen!)
I'm still recovering from the letterdancers in the "Betcha By Golly Wow" video - my recovery is sure to be a lifelong process. The pain. The agony. And finally, for sheer, raw, unfettered ENNUI, there's always....THE DAISY CHAIN.  | |

"The Holy River", IMO. Prince has never looked more ridiculous than with that white (leather?) bellyshirt, and that silly light brown dye in his hair.

When 2 R In Love's vid though is even worse cause a sensual scene with Prince and a woman could've been so sexy to go with the song. There's just no justifying this video. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.
