He said he'd never sing 'Diamonds & Pearls' with anyone else, so he just sings it by himself!

I hope they do more stuff together. I remember an interview with her where she said that somedays her and Prince would just record gospel tunes together. I'd love to hear that!

rosie is from my hometown I grew up hearing her and her brothers and sisters in the local talent shows. Our moms worked together. We went to the same highschool and had the same band/music teacher. When she put out her first album she played at Escovedo's a club owned and operated by Pete, sheila's dad and she invited Mr. Cross the band teacher to come and hear her show. We were all there of course ( me and my girls) and she told Mr. Cross that he did her a favor because he told her she wouldn't make it and so she set out to prove him wrong. She thanked him for his motivation. she moved back to my home town a few years ago. She is still cool, still friend with my cousin.

I don't know if she and P will record together again. he kinda left a bad taste in her mouth professionally, but they still hang out when he goes to the bay area.

We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color.
