I mean, i listen to at least a Prince mp3 every day, and i only listen to stevie wonder, hendrix, and other GREAT artists once or two per week. i mean, i love led zeppelin and i don´t listen to them for weeks now. BUt everyday i listen at least one prince mp3. AM i addicted?
BTW i have about 3000 thousands of mp3z, so i know and love lots of artists.. But this worries me.

If i'm honest, yes. I listen to Prince nearly every day without fail. Though i do make time for other artists, otherwise i'd go mad i think.

Prince is the centre of my musical world. He's my bread, my potatoes and my orange juice. I listen to lot's of other stuff but it's P I hear everyday at least once without fail.

Lately...

The phase started round Nov/Dec of last year. I'm pissing folks off now. Gotta wait til after 9/9 that's the last of the concerts! I see no let up until then.

Actually, I overdose everyone around me on Prince sometimes. I must admit I took a major break from Prince for a couple years after playing him frequently since 1985. TRC was the first Prince CD I didn't wear out when it arrived and news/One Night Alone didn't really help sooooo... he got very little spinning between 2001 and earlier this year. Musicology has sort of pulled be back in, in a big way.

ALL I listen to is Prince, especially more now than before. I get stuck on albums from time to time and he's the best music on my player. I've been meaning to get to other music, but I just keep playing Prince...do I think I listen to him too much? The answer is YES. Do I think there's something wrong with that? NO. If that's what makes me feel good, I continue to go my merry way and continue playing my Prince songs......I go to work listening to Prince......and come back listening to Prince.....happy...

I dont think so.Prince's catalog is huge and you can explore it for years without wearing much of it out.I personally havent listened to him in months (not even his new stuff) but I keep up with him just the same.

I also love the other artists you mention, however in your defense, their catalogs are finite and much easier to get "burnt out " on.(Hendrix and Zeppelin anyway)

Yes, I probably listen to Prince too much.

During the Parade-Lovesexy period, I definitely listened to him most days and drove a few friends crazy. I'm a Deadhead, and so were most of my friends at the time. More friends eventually got into it, though.

During the 90's I was living in a town of 600 in rural Montana. There were no radio stations which played Prince, no music channels on television. I faithfully drove 150 miles roundtrip to the nearest record store each time Prince released an album, and eventually I just lost interest. I remember telling my friend, "I don't get into 'city music' anymore."

I live in Seattle now though, and Prince is coming to my hometown for the first time. Very psyched about that.

I discovered "The Org" a few months ago, and it has heartened me that I've got so many brothers and sisters out there. I've been rediscovering Prince in a big way and listening to him a lot. I've been waking-up with different songs in my head every day too. It's very cool.

I have Prince playing almost 24 hours a day. If you ask the people who live with me, they'll tell you I listen to it way too much. But if you ask me, I don't listen to it enough! There is no too much! It's Prince!

I listen 2 a P song probably every day.

I listen to Prince all day at work, and 2-3 hours at home. (weekdays)

Yeah, I'm pretty much an addict.

I really can't go more than a couple of days without listening to Prince. Drives my boyfriend crazy. Lately, it's been Chaos and Disorder, of all things. I'm really beginning to feel like that's the most underrated album ever. And though I still think it ranks in the high above-average category, I think I might of overrated Musicology at first. Or maybe it's just burn out. The first half is not so hot, the second half makes up for it.

I listen to Prince in the morning before going to school.

on my way back to school
while i study at home (by the way i got all B's and A's this year! 1st year of college)
before i go to sleep.
im going to his concert.
a lot of his songs make sense in life they might be even the answer to what is the point of life.... ?!
