I Hate U video speaking of the song I Hate U i remember when it was climbing the charts i was waiting for a video for the song and i heard there was one coming out but it never did and i know it exists because i downloaded it a while back...why didnt Prince release the video for the song in the U.S? He wanted to include a very true to the lyrics version of the courtroom scene. Mtv and the other Vid. channels weren't comfortable with that and said they wouldn't air it.

Just bitching here, but since it was brought up...
I remember waiting around, and being so excited, for the VH1 "Love 4 One Another" special back in 199_ (5/6?)... I just knew that he would premiere the I Hate U video... And all I got in the end, aside from a very pretty Mayte video, and a forgettable "Count the Days" moment, was prince silently mouthing "I love you!" I was so disappointed.. I always wondered.. Did that little "I Love you" clip come from the "I hate you" video? Or is that just wishful thinking? |
