Could Musicology outsell any recent MJ album?

It may b the case that musicology will end up selling more than "Number 1s" "Blood on the Dancefloor" and "Invincible". Which would mean that Prince would outsell MJ in the US for the first time in his career!

Hey, it was just a thought!

The way things have been going for MJ, outselling him is really not that impressive anymore. Anyway, Prince has always been #1 to me reguardless of album sells. afro pick

MJ puts out an album every 5 years. Prince almost every year. So I'm pretty sure Thriller outsold a couple of Princes albums, but I'd be curious to compare say ATWIAD, Parade, SOTT, and Lovesexy to Bad. THen compare Batman, Graffiti Bridge, Diamonds and Pearls, prince, and The Hits to Dangerous. After that i get lost on MJ albums. Prince is just a more prolific artist so that should be taken into consideration.

Well, Invincible has sold 10 million copies. Pretty impressive, considering it got shit all promotion.
Blood on the Dance Floor only sold about 2 million, but you must remember that it was essentially a remix album.
Number Ones is a greatest hits collection but I think it's doing pretty well. It's sold more copies that Musicology has, at any rate.

Anyway, Thriller, Bad and Dangerous have sold more copies than all of Prince's albums put together.
