I Heard A Naughty Word on ICP&C Can anyone tell me if they hear what I hear? On the song, Illusion, Coma, Pimp & Circumstance..... in the chorus..... right after Prince says "Boy I was fine back in the day...." When he sings "he hipped her to the funk in exchange for the finance....." I hear him say "and a Blow Job!" I swear I do. Someone listen to the song real quick and let me know that it is not my imagination or something pleaase!
Put the spoon down honey, come on let mama feed you!

Ummm, I just listened to it a couple of times. I don't think its sounds like "blow job" at all. I can't make out what he's saying, but I was listening for what you thought he sang, and it doesn't sound like it to me. I'll listen to it further though. LOL, maybe my head is in the gutter (I do have 5 children). However, I'll stand behind what I say and I really think he's saying those words. Put the spoon down honey, come on let mama feed you!

I'll listen to it again with this in mind, then get back to you. Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. No, I think what is being discussed is the third chorus rendition, where:
'Got the bills, y'all' or perhaps 'For the bills, y'all' is spoken underneath and towards the end of the line: 'So he hipped her 2 the funk in exchange 4 the finance' http://www.dtt-lyrics.com...l#illusion . Upon me typing this out, I distinctively remember that it was after: .... in exchange for the finance (and blowjob[/color[color=blue]]). It can't be "nobody" because that comes after when he sings .....who's pimping who (nobody). Get what I mean? Put the spoon down honey, come on let mama feed you!

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Since when is Blow Job a dirty phrase anyways? All the gals say hoe if your man's giving up the gold. All the fellas say ruff if you're only giving up the bone.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Since when is Blow Job a dirty phrase anyways? Well, as long as I've been around it's been a dirty phrase. I wouldn't tolerate that phrase coming from one of my teenagers. Even though they probably say much worse when I'm not around, it's not something they can sit around and just say to describe anything. Likewise, if I were in mixed company, I wouldn't go throwing that word around either. And for another point, since we have all witnessed a (rebirth if you will) of P and family values, etc., I think that would be a questionable phrase for him to sing. However, the Purple One always goes against the grain anyway, and I probably wouldn't put it past him. Know what I mean? Put the spoon down honey, come on let mama feed you!

Ya nailed it... | |

Well, there's that part in "Cinnamon Girl" where you hear him yell "YOUR MOTHER SUCKS COCKS IN HELL", but I'm sure I'm just bringing up an obvious example.

Is that what he's yelling? I thought it was YOUR MOTHER SHUCKS SOCKS IN THE WELL! Thanks for clearing this up. Christian Zombie Vampires
