New Prince Cd Already Cut & Ready To Be Released Anytime Just a rumour from one of the cameramen on the set of Rove Live in Australia during the lead up to the Prince interview....."in general chit chat B4 the interview Prince inferred that the next project is already completed but will not be released until later this year or early next year" His exact words verbatim were "the next already completed project is for the fans".
Make of that what you will.

More than likely...
There's a lot of Prince's albums that were almost finished by the time the previous album hit the shelves. It's also worth remembering that Musicology was actually recorded last year (at least 6 months ago, probably longer).

Apparently he's been in discussion with Blue Note. Speculation has it that it may be the release of Xpectation. So no need for the s Life it ain't real funky unless you got that orgPop.

Two great songs, love to see those on a released album. Blue

Yes there are talks to manufacture and distribute 'Xpectation' through Blue Note,
but that's a seperate issue, it's not the 'new album'.

I remember this....wasnt it the 'Rolling Stone' interview from 1985??? I remember he was hot off the heals of the PURPLE RAIN phenomena, already released ATWIAD, and was already recording PARADE and shooting UTCM. Most of today's top artists would fall flat on their pretty faces if they did half the work this man could do! Every minute of last night is on my face today....

I Remember he was Always onto the next project even before the other was Over. When Graffiti Bridge was in the Movie Theaters and he wasn't Happy with it he was Not Doing any PROMOTION for the Album and we Here in the Us didn't get the Tour either. He went to Work on the Next album.. Prince Is So Damn Critical of his Work that well Even if the Fans Enjoy stuff he will Think it's NOT Good Enough,... We Love him for that but he Lost Alot because Bootleggers made money off of what He Considered Throwaways or INFERIOR. Nothing Prince Creates Is Inferior . It May not be 1005 POPULAR with PEOPLE but NEVER,NEVER should he EVER Think Bad,Inferior or a MISS. The Fans will GOOBLE it UP>>> I wish he would Have ALWAYS REALIZED this.. Maybe Zel's Big Mouth will Make him WAKE-UP! He is The GREATEST no HUMBLENESS NEEDED! WHEN Ya GREAT.. YA GREAT! No ONE is As TALENTED as PRINCE!! He Is The BEST! I HOPE he GETS it and NEVER EVER FORGETS IT.. HE is SOOO LOVED BY ALL OF HIS FANS.. LOOK AT THE CONCERTS!!! YEs,PRINCE! YES! HE Rules! Anybody Ever say a Wrong thing.. I Piss on YOU! LOL....

THese types of songs are "b-side quality". P knows it too. He knows how to release a pop album when he wants to. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

The only thing this guy ever said was that November 2003 would be the month to look out for, and then later, when nothing happened, that Prince would re-sign with WB. Pathetic moron. "How embarrasing to be human!"

Hey Boris Fishpaw is a credible source. He's proven himself time and time again. i wasnt for a minute suggesting otherwise mate, i just wondered how he knew what he said thats all. you know how things work on the org, a rumour starts then on another thread someone reports that rumour as true. from what ive seen basically we heard about a live instrumental album on blue note, someone said "i bet its xpectation" and from then on its vbeen taken pretty much as fact. so i was just wondering if he'd actually heard something solid!

Just because he was in talks with Blue Note doesn't mean that it's gonna happen. Every fan should be well aware by now that Prince plans things and shelves things at an alarming rate, and until an album actually hits the shelves all bets are off.
