I am 99% certain that at least *some* if not all of the NPGMC video being released May 26 is the Omaha show. I was there and he did those songs. The outfits and confetti on the floor look just like the Omaha show. Plus it is known that they taped that night and reviewed the footage after the show.

OK, just re-read the rules about bootleg discussion... I guess its OK to talk about. Here is what I am really getting at.

Obviously the entire Omaha show exists in pro-shot, multiple angle digital video, full board sound, etc. And at least some of it now has been mixed/mastered and whatnot.

So what are the odds that the rest of it "leaks" out of the vault? I am a boot newbie. Am I just wishing in vain here or could more footage of the Omaha show surface?

We know it exists. That's the first piece of the puzzle, right?

I think it's the Staples Center show - opening night in L.A. that was broadcast in the theaters...

If you believe the NPGMC moderators (not a trusty lot) it is from the Omaha show. After the concert, Prince and the band went to a pool hall to hang out and watch the DVD they recorded, according to a post one of the moderators made the following day.

At other "afterparties" the DVDs have been played. Someone seriously needs to "liberate" one!
