But, realizing civilization had been saved by Will Smith rapping over Prince samples, the rest of us would finish the aliens' job for them and blow up the earth.

I am pleased to announce that the alien invasion has been successfully repelled and the earth is safe again.

Initial signs were not good, as the anti-funk strains of Jughead energized the creatures into a ferocious first attack.

Only after the playing of the entire 'Dirty Mind' record did the 12 hour onslaught relent.

Our forces managed to maintain the situation for some time, peppering the alien forces with rapid 5 minute funkathons until an unfortunate friendly-fire incident involving the track 'Animal Kingdom' almost brought the earth to its knees.

Thankfully, the mercilessly funky DMSR was found, which turned the tide back in favour of our heroic army. After 3 plays of the song the aliens were mortally wounded and on the retreat.

The 1999 album was put on repeat and soldiers and civilians were seen dancing in the streets as the aliens fled from earth in their funkless saucer-shaped ships.
