I wasn't aware that many people worry about how many more albums Prince has in him... Is this from people here on the org or where did you hear that?

David Bowie cranked out a new album last year and he's been on tour since last fall...and he's 57.

I love David Bowie, but I read some pretty bad reviews about his tour though. Wonder how it really was, have you seen him in concert recently?

Is this from people here on the org or where did you hear that? it's a group of people that meet once a month and discuss how many more albums P has in him...they meet for about 2 hours and they serve a nice lunch..very cool [This message was edited Tue May 18 17:05:02 2004 by Mazerati] Check it out ...Shiny Toy Guns R gonna blowup VERY soon and bring melody back to music..you heard it here 1st! http://www.myspacecomment...theone.mp3

I've read SO many positively glowing reviews I regret not going. I saw Bowie at the Berkeley Community Theater (perhaps 2K seats) a few weeks ago. I am a big fan and I was disapointed. His voice was fine, the sound was fine and the band was competent. There was just no fire on stage. Just kind of blah. The guy a few rows in front of me waving his cane to the beat pretty much set the mood for me. A bunch of old people watching an aging rocker who is no longer relevant. At one point in the show, Bowie passed out earplugs to the folks down front; I swear. That is not rock n roll to me. a psychotic is someone who just figured out what's going on
