Favourite song **POLL** I turned Christian about 5months ago, and i'm beginning 2 understand and enjoy those really spiritual songs, so what i want, is 2 see your 3 favs of his best songs about god or just spiritual, and once U vote for your 3 fav's, i will add all the scores up, and see which 1 is superior.

For something truly righteous and moving I'll put on Aretha, Curtis, or Al before Prince any day. Even though I was more or less a Christian once and am almost completely atheist now (from reading books such as Richard Dawkin's "The Blind Watchmaker") I still think a lot in terms of spirit on this earth at least, even if I don't believe in "The Everlasting Now" as much as I used to. So here are my favourite "spiritual" Prince songs, in no particular order:
* The Everlasting Now * Last December * God * Anna Stesia * The Cross * The Ladder (used to think this song was crap, now I love it) Just thinking: for a man so hell-bent (gotta love irony) on God, he doesn't have all that many songs directly about God and spirituality in general.
