What songs are about Susanna? I know that Strange Relationship is. And I know that there are a few more that are speculated, but which ones are KNOWN?
Also, what was the name of the song that Prince wrote about her and then destroyed it right away after he recorded it? "So strange that no one stayed at the end of the Parade..." - Wendy & Lisa's "Song About" on their 1987 self-titled album.

I don't know if this is true or not... but a little birdie told me that Zannalee was about Susannah.
Said her middle name is Lee (Susannah Lee Melvoin) and the "Fendi" Prince mentions was Wendy. Her name is Zannalee, I like what she do 2 me She got a sister named Fendi and they like 2 do me double-team Now I wasn't there, I have no idea... someone just told me this, I don't know if it is true or not. Read the liner notes from Emancipation. It says: "2 Wendy and Lisa and Susannah." He was dating Susannah in '86, Emancipation came out 10 years later in '96, so he was not dating Susannah at the time of writing "In This Bed  Scream."Lovesexy Funkateer | |

there is something about them three woman (lisa, wendy and sus) that inspire the greatest in mens creativity....I recall in a Neil Finn interview how he appreciated how wendy went about collaberating...and im not taking away anything from prince, seal or neil finn but something about the aura of these woman that will allow a man to walk away, go in a room by himself and create some jawdropping songs.... is it karma? is it a muse thing? whatever it is....doyle bramhall is benefitting from it....
