Is it her voice on the song? I know she did the voice for How U Wanna Be Done and 2the9s.. When did Mayte come into the picture in terms of singing on tracks/speaking? Anybody know? Thanks.

Thanks.. I initially thought it was Mayte on Ripop.. it is DEF carmen on ALL of the symbol album.. Mayte lip synchs during the Ryde Divine performance.. I don't think Mayte was part of the recording for symbol.. yet she was in the photos.. I dunno. I think I'll go ask her! :-p

I thought too both songs were Mayte & it sounds like her.

No, no, no... Carmen appears on a single track on the album, which is The Continental. Mayte is on Love 2 The 9's and the rest.

What does that mean anyway...'Ripopgodezippa'? It sounds like a reggae song, Prince listens to reggae on the low??? Seems like he has a couple of songs that sound like it....
