who takes over releasing his music.. the unreleased??

Very interesting actually; I've sometimes wondered this myself. Who would sort it out and what would they do with this. Maybe Prince has already planned this.

My guess is that as he is always so cagey about his unreleased music, he'd probably not want those who come after him to have the discretion to release it as they wish. Remember that Prince always insists on the tightest controls over how he is perceived and what the public gets to see/hear of him. This goes for the 'throwaways' such as Chaos And Disorder and The Vault - he wanted to carefully express his opinion on those forcing him to release music for them through these albums.

So, I think he'd want the music never to see the light of day. After all, he chose not to release it for a reason (okay, this is conditioned by the amount of material WB allowed in the 1978-96 period). If I'm wrong, then perhaps it might fall to the musicians/engineers who he was closest to to choose what to release based on what they knew of him and what he was into during the time they knew him. Eric leeds, for example.
