What are some of the rarest P songs?...

Many tracks are widely circulated now, obviously, but I'm looking for some lists of songs you think or know to be extremely hard-to-find.

Here are a few I've found difficult to locate:

Suzie Lovelace
Lust U Always
Euphoria Highway
Donna
Be My Mirror
Work That Fat
Strange Way Of Saying I Love U
Go
Small Bright Light
Since We've Been Together
Broken

Do you have a list?

They're all on bootlegs.

Suzie Lovelace is Mazarati isn't it.

As far as released songs, the rarest is his version of "Wouldn't U Love 2 Love Me". It was actually put on a promo disc for Mica Paris's cover, making it dubiously official (it never got past the promo stage, as it was an overly-ambitious engineer that put it on there. Prince had not given his permission, so it wasn't on subsequent singles of the song).

Don't forget the vocal versions of "Feline" and "Lust U Always"

"Small Bright Light" is the only one I still haven't heard from the above list.

I think around the time "Xenophobia"/"Xpectation" was recorded since there's some horrible violin playing throughout probably courtesy of Vanessa Mae...

Was that the reason why her contribution to "Xpectation" was so small?

I have heard some of these...some not.

What exactly makes them rare? On the Work Vols. SOme of these are there...but I do know that for some of these...this was one of the first places they ended up.

I'd have to say Work that fat is pretty rare. I have never heard of
Suzie Lovelace
Go
Small Bright Light

Then there stuff that was supposed to be on the Crystal Ball 2 like
- "3 nigs watching a kung-fu movie"
- "Love And Sex"
- "Evolsidog"
- "Adonis And Batsheeba"
- "Eye Wonder"
- "American Jam"
- "Katrina’s Paper Dolls"

Are any of these circulating? I have also read there are Lovesexy (the song) remixes...not sure if they are out there though

I have never heard of
Suzie Lovelace
Go

Both "I Wonder" and "Work That Fat" are outtakes from 1991-92 era and are definitely circulating.

"Go", on the other hand, is a Parade-era track. Only a short snippet of the studio version has become available on boot.

As for the others I guess we will have to wait a little bit longer before we get to hear all that stuff. The lyrics to "Adonis And Batsheeba" have already been publised in some magazine somewhere. Apparently the song was a harp-laden piece of whimsy that Prince recorded during the Dream Factory sessions. Susan Rogers hated it.

Prince had nothing to do with "Suzie Lovelace". More than likely, that's Brownmark trying to sing on that one.

Drawers Burnin’
Friction

I would add the following songs to the "rarest" list. These are Prince compositions that he may have recorded in the studio but has so far only played live or during rehearsal:

"Wednesday"
"Cold Coffee And Cocaine"
"Mama"
"Our Destiny"
"Roadhouse Garden"
"What Did I Do?"
"If U Let Me Undress U"

Feel free to add more to the list.

OK, here are two more:

"Billy" from a Purple Rain-era rehearsal.
"Jealous Again" from a Nude Tour rehearsal.

Both tracks are great rocking tunes with fiery guitar solos.

What about 'Ming Mong Charlie' - the song that inspired my username.

Would you call this one rare?
