Shhhhh.... What is your favorite bootleg? Do you prefer outtakes or liveshows? The reason for this question is that I find that most male fans prefer Live boots...and us girls prefer outtakes...what are your thoughts? The Prince.org Photo Album http://www.purplehouse.nl...ery/Jacqui

now that i think about it though, i wouldn't mind getting a hold of a boot of the "SOTT" video live, or "livesexy", for that matter. now i know what this is all about. now i know exactly what i am.

i prefer rehearsals because of the non-performance nature. Hearing how a song can be put together, and the banter between the band...still feel bad for those ppl in philly though! lol
I like alot of studio boots, but I guess im a hypocrite moralist...studio boots were STOLEN from him...live stuff.well even though it isnt authorized ther music hit public airwaves, right...I know its a sketchy excuse, and Im not saying Im anti-boot, but maybe thats why I like live/rehearsals better. As for live boots....small clubs over stadium shows. The 88 Roseland show in NYC is amazing, except for poor recording quality. The 86-88 club shows were just amazing! I'm really digging Gold-era shows like Stars & Bars, Brabanthallen and Glam Slam Boogie. Funny thing is I never appreciated that music when it came out! Guess I always want what I can't have! Bob

So many boots it hard to just pick a favorite among them all. They're like children
I have a lot of live shows. "Small Club" springs to mind as a favorite. My boot of the NYC Radio City show I was at is another. Hey cause I was there is it was probably that last really GREAT show Prince did (since he covered all of the "symbol" album as well as the hits) Man I've lost track of all the boots I have..got to take an inventary someday. Personally I don'thave a problem with boots as long as they don't take sales away from his commercial stuff. Paying for a CDR bootleg of one of his commerical album from some street salesman is not the same as paying for some live show he'd never release anyway. As soon as Prince starts to release this stuff himself (and there is a goldmine waiting for him in doing that); we can all give HIM the money
