PRINCE SUPPORTERS ARE NEVER SATISFIED!

If he's not experimenting, it's not cool. If he's too commercial, it's not cool. If Prince ever decided to be produced by Kanye West which will never happen, someone will hate that too. Someone will say something like, "Kanye didn't give Prince the right track. He could've done better with Prince."

So face it. You people will never be satisfied. You might as well swallow whatever you're sucking because you're never going to be full-filled.

Personally, I like the way things are going even the albums from the 90s. I like Usher's new album by the way, but some songs, though they are good, sounds like stuff I heard before from him. He has that new track, "Burn," right? Well "Burn" could've been on his last album.

I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

What is it you expect from Prince.org??
A boatload of fans all saying they love Prince & everything he does?
Sounds boring.
Here I'll try it your way.
I've been a fan since the eary 80's & I really like Musicology.
And I love TRC & N.E.W.S.
Don't you think Prince's music is grand???

That make you feel better???

All I'm saying is people are stuck in 1984 or any other year that was a good year for Prince. I never said we have to like everything he does, but damn, some things I read on here is pathetic.

i hear ya, it's time for the music lovers to take a break from this board and let the arm chair critiques keep arguing whats good and bad till they all wear each other down by over analyzing everything prince has done.. in the process take all the magic out of the music.. and end up only liking the same shit, the only ones they can agree on...

As much as all the bullshit comments and threads on this board bug the hell out of me, (i.e. "The Satanic meaning behind 0(->"), I'm not sure it would be all that different if this was say, a Michael Jackson board. Prince continues to appeal to a wide, if aging, range of people. If the artist in question was Yoyo-Ma or some other classical musician generally appealing to a very distinct and comparitively homogeneous group, we would probably not be seeing as much crap around "Prince and Plastic Surgery" or "That Bitch Mani Stole My Man." The sensationalistic trailer trash barrell bottom afternoon talk show sludge we see here is a simple reflection of a lot of the people Prince appeals to.

Sometimes I wish Purple Rain into the cornfield. Nuff Said.
