Now that "Musicology" is officially a hit...

OK, so nitpicking and petty squabbles aside, I think we can all agree that at this point "Musicology" is a hit in the typical sense. Regardless of whether or not you like the album, and I know a lot of people have some issues with it, it's certainly Prince's best commercial record since "The Gold Experience" or maybe "Emancipation." (I personally prefer the former, but you get the idea.)

So, anyway, my question is : Where does Prince go from here?

Does he make another commercial record and try to remain in the "mainstream," does he go back to making small releases for his hardcore fans, or maybe he'll go off and do something completely out of the blue that none of us had ever thought of?

What do you guys think he'll do, and what, in your opinion would be best?

lol

The really scary thing is I don't have that much trouble picturing that happening. But the whole country thing... Well, ya'll remember "Right The Wrong." I rest my case.

Hell, I'd be happy if he just kept on touring until the end of his career. 2004ever? Fine by me. And you know he's still recording on the road, so...
