why the Musicology single now???

as Newpower99 pointed out Sony has finally put "Musicology" up for adds on top 40 radio,,my question is why now?? why in the world did they wait so long...the song was getting massive airplay about 3 weeks ago on MTV and VH1 but since has pretty much been dropped from Mtv and gotten less airplay from Vh-1,,everybody has pretty much heard this song enough and is ready to move on...what kind of strategy is this?
Check it out ...Shiny Toy Guns R gonna blowup VERY soon and bring melody back to music..you heard it here 1st! http://www.myspacecomment...theone.mp3
