Not that it is a bad song, but people are just so dumb these days and most people who listen to top 40 radio, don't care about lyrics unless they refer to tits, ass, drugs, guns, rims, or bling. Well I have to agree with you on that one! Hell I am surprised Prince hasn't been ran through the wringer for writing an anti war song! The way this administration wraps itself in the flag everytime you criticize it. Peace THE CARDINAL HAS SPOKEN!!!

I love Cinnamon Girl. It grows on you the more you listen to it. You're not gonna really
get much from it if you just listen once or twice though. "Why'd I waste my kisses on you baby?" R.I.P. Prince You've finally found your way back home. Well Done.

I totally agree about the chorus. It sounds like a great pop song til that uncreative chorus kicks in, that's when the song loses its luster. It's just such a poor chorus, it has no hook in it at all.
I don't really hear any hits on Musicology, I doubt any song could really chart considering it doesn't sound anything like real top 40 material (and that often means poor quality music with glossy production and an amazing chorus). ICPC could be a sleeper hit, it's really funny and has a great chorus to sing along to. The problem is with its production though. It might be too raw sounding for top 40. If it was more heavily produced with a more present synth beat, it'd be a HUGE hit. Like I've said before, just look at Roses. Call My Name could be a really strong R&B hit though, I think it's a good choice for a single. Really pleasant, relaxing music with romantic lyrics. Good chorus too. And unlike The Org, ppl won't give a damn that it sounds like Insatiable or any other Prince ballad, cause most won't ever even know. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

Who should direct the video, and what role should Prince play in the video?[/b] It's a great track that I think could do well with the right video. What do you think?
Now that we know Cinnamon Girl is going to be released as a single in some parts of the world what are everyone's thoughts now of a video idea?
