How might I respond to this? I'm in an e-mail argument with someone about Prince.
I don't respect him as a musician at all. He really has no talent in my eyes. He's about as talented as rappers such as Nelly.
That dumbfounded me... Can you all give me some help on this? | |

That dumbfounded me... Can you all give me some help on this? With me, I'd use the tactic of getting them to more or less admit that they don't know what the hell they're talking about...  In other words, I'd start asking questions...like "So you don't think Prince has any talent on guitar??"...See what they respond with, make them actually think about the twaddle they're throwing out disguised as an informed, knowledgeble opinion..
