Prince in Paris in October I was flicking through last Sunday's papers here in the UK and a ticket agency are advertsising Prince ticketss for Prince in pairs on October 28th. Saw him in '88 at the Bercy (Lovesexy) and presume it'll be ther again - can anyone in Paris confirm?

He played Paris 28th October 2002. Maybe the paper was 2 years old?

This has been reported as having been in the Sunday papers last Sunday and the previous week too.
It's strange that it should be a repeated mistake, despite the fact that the date coincides with his performance on the ONA tour. (Why would an agency / newspaper run a mistake two weeks in a row (other than a computer / clerical eror is occurring?) Is there a contact number given that someone can call to check this out? . Sounds fishy. Why would they be advertising for a concert six months early?

I've used this company once in the past for a trip to Paris. They advertise tickets sometimes based on rumoured dates, so that they get the cash upfront and can put it in their bank account to gain nice interest until it's officially announced (or not). If it is announced, then they send you the tickets and collect the interest, if it's not they give you a refund but still get the interest, so either way they win. If you call them and ask them if it's officially been announced or ask them if you'll get your tickets soon, they'll probably say no.
When I went their trip wasn't very well organised, but that was a good few years ago now so they may be a bit better. Having said that, the Bercy is a great venue and if it is announced there'll be a concert there then I definately recommend for anyone to go.

I went to this website, (the London calling one) and they say the Zenith not Bercy.
As this was the venue last year I asume this must be something from last year and not this year, all too co-incidental same date, same Venue, and I would think that Prince would do Bercy on the next tour...consdiering the venues he is playing in the US
