Name the top 10 Prince guitar solos Dunno if anyone asked this b4, but what are the top 10 guitar solos in a song prince has ever done? (or 5.. if u can't think of that many)

The Computer Blue guitar solo is my favorite. Everytime I hear the song I keep rewinding it to the first of the solo and keep listening to it over and over again. Lol.
I also love the Purple Rain solo of course. It's a classic Prince solo. Little Red Corvette solo was good too. | |

the best imho ... Positivity. Through layering mixed in the song it is hard to follow. Yet the song is completely built up around the fierce guitar work. |

it's without a doubt that "Just My Imagination" from Small Club is probably his finest moment on guitar. it's really what a guitar solo is all about. Slow build up and serious climax. and it's all live and improvised. no overdubs or nuttin' like that. a truly inspired solo. 
oh yeah, BTW: On "Let's Go Crazy", the number 1 hit, there's about 15 seconds of just bare ripping guitar at the end of that song. It's so overlooked. all of the guitar mags never mention it. and i don't get it. | |
