Lol. That Charlene Friend shoulda sold her stuff to me..I woulda given the stuff back to Prince if it Hurt him so. How can anybody Ever Sell Their Collection? How can Anyone who was once a Fan Not Be as Dedicated Still? Prince's Music is Still the Best out there. But Really I do Think Prince should be More Out there Having a Young Fun Time. Sometimes I Think He Feels Old because he Himself Stifles Himself with Restrictions. He's the Best and Sexy as Hell and he's Talking Old Skin ..What? My Butt! My ex-bestfriend GAVE me his entire Prince collection.
We were the only 2 into Prince in school but,when the indie scene really kicked off in the UK (blur, Oasis etc) he decided that Prince was too mainstream and not cool enough (ironic as he was trying to rebel against what was cool...straight into a whole new "this is cool" area!!) He called me up, said he had a gift and 15 minutes later I had 2 carrier bags full of Prince cds in my lap. The great thing is that I hear he is big into Prince again since teh Indie thing fell on its arse...so he's got to start all oevr again....sucker!!!!! | |

I'm selling my copy of Exodus. Worst Prince album ever and it seems to be fetching high prices on EBay for some reason. | |

Exodus is Great especially the Segues which are Funny like Mashed Potato Girl and Prince in the ITALIAN VOICE at the Restaurant. | |

Wow - a food 4 thought thread!
Im gonna be moving soon, and wont have the space 4 a lot of the stuff Ive amassed over the years, and was gonna sell it on Ebay. But then I thought of u Zelaria, and was just going 2 let u have it. So thank GOD 4 your thread! How could I have been so stupid! So Im taking it in2 the garden this evening 2 burn it instead - may even invite a few friends 'round & have a BBQ at the same time.

I've always wanted to hear Exodus just for the Italian voice. I remember the NME saying Exodus sounded like a Prince album recorded after he'd been on a bender with Shane McGowan on Pluto and had to walk home afterward. [This message was edited Sun May 9 17:21:16 2004 by flipwilson] | |
