If anyone has watched Lenny Kravitz new video (sorry can't rememer the name of it, something about running or why are we running?) near the end when he is getting quite crazy with the piano it reminded me of P. Does anyone feel the same way that has seen the video?

absolutely YES...it immediately reminded me of purple rain...the dresses...the way he walks 2 get 2 the backstage...the way he does things on stage...and even when he sits in front of a mirror in the backstage...too "purple rain"ish 4 me...
anyway the video (and of course the song) is titled "Where are we runnin'"

I thought the same thing when I saw the video; and then I actually looked at the video and heard the song. OMG, they're both are aweful! What the heck was he on?

yeah actually i don't like the video, don't know what its suppose to do for us fans...

all i know is that he started acting crazy and wild humping that piano, like he was possessed or something...

and the perm, oh my gosh, lenny was shaking that hair so much i thought he was trying out for a mabelline commercial.

i can see how somebody said earlier that it reminded them of purple rain when he sat in front of that mirror..the only difference is that P wasn't alone, he had his little puppet with him, but lenny looked like he had a high that blew his mind...and ours too

Yeah, all I could think about when I saw this video was Prince's performance of Darling Nikki and then ofourse his running to the dressing room.

I actually dig it though (the song and video). It looks like he's losing himself to the whole rock star image and longing for redemtion or deeper meaning to life.

I'm not saying it's the most original thing, but I like it.

I agree, he is definately going through some kind of "I wanna be Prince" fase.
