the artist formerly known as Prince eras of 1993-1996??
It seems like i am the only one who misses
I hope i'm not alone because some of my most favorite songs came out between those eras (Billy Jack Bitch, Loose, Phermone, Come, P Control...ect)
What i miss..
Prince's style back then, you know, when we first saw the symbol gutair, the cane, Mayte (no offense Mani)

And let's just face it, Prince looked "Damn" good back then..especially in 95...

I was watching Beavis and Butt Head yesterday on MTV 2 and The most Beautiful girl in the world video came on.. He looked so cute *pout*

Nope, I miss those days too. What killed me was the waiting between first hearing about recordings like "interactive" and "Now", and how long it took those songs to see the light of day. Many songs and performances of that period now seem like the last time Prince will ever truly "Get Wild".
What a shock it was to hear "Emancipation" after TGE, Come, Chaos & Disorder, Sacrifice of Victor etc. It sounded so lame because all of the adventurousness and live band feel had been replaced with half-baked stale studio duds.
And Mayte was his perfect onstage foil, and oh yeah, wife.
Shaking her super sexy thing all over, wearing those handcuffs..sweet mama.
Those two must have done some damage.

I don't miss him...because I just put the CD on & he plays.
