Imagine that Linn Drum beat over What Do U Want Me 2 Do!? That wouldve been very cool.

But hey im happy that he even picked up the linn drum again...but that beat he put on the end of *69 is out cold!

Hate to tell ya, but ?uestlove programmed that beat. I don't think Prince is on that portion of the song at all.

Yeah, Prince didn't make that beat or have anything to do with it.

DOROTHYPARK

the song is great! the programming is superb, classic Prince.
The breaks are great, the bridge is so cool with that instrumental jazzguitar addition to it.

But :
the only thing i don't like so much is the melody of the chorus. it's a bit lame.. that's all.
it shouldn't have been a very different melody..
and also the lyrics are a bit too cheesy...

a lot of times Prince's lovesongs lyrics can be sooooo cheesy and kitsh. there are just a few lovesongs which i truely find great craftmanship of both melody and (cheesy) lyrics like "Condition Of The Heart", "When 2 R In Love", "Take Me WIth U" and "Pruple Rain"

Wahday

Prince plays the keyboard line in *69. Quest love made the Linn beat. He said I can't believe I used the same drum machine to create when Dove cry.

Thanx Wahday..now my dream is destroyed 4ever. cry sad

Dorothy..i agree with the chorus...i think the bridge is very very tired..but it is still a highlight of the album for the linn use alone. There arent really any good slow jams on the album..other than Reflection. The rest sounds kinda like stuff he's done already.
