Fri, May. 07, 2004 Big stars get a leg up on hands-on entertainment http://www.thestate.com/m...596676.htm Prince: Touch Prince? Yeah, right. Even the girls who danced on stage didn’t touch him. One fan wouldn’t take “no” and climbed on stage. He got half his body up there before security started dragging him back. But the fan was able to hold Prince’s leg for a brief moment. As security forcefully (and this is being nice) removed the fan, Prince gave him a smile and a thumbs up. For the acknowledgment, we give Prince a B. | |

 Hmmm...I was at the concert that night, and while I definitely remember the fan climbing on stage and being quickly removed (from the stage, and apparently, the venue), I do not at all recall Prince giving a thumbs-up sign in response. From my vantage point, Prince made a funny "that dude's lost his mind" face and did a quick "he's gone loco" gesture with his hand...he did have a slightly smiley expression though."...'IN A SENSE,' he said, 'you're alone here... so if you jump, you best jump far'..." | |

But he was smiling and definately didn't seem put off by it. | |
