After bashing ICPC, Life of the Party, and Musicology the song ... I have to admit I now like the entire album and listen to it straight through. what the hell happened? And ICPC I didn't like on first listen..by the third listen, I was hooked. That song is funky as hell..  True....except for LOTP. It still makes me want to shit directly on my own tongue.... "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

Still hasn't grown on me
I don't particularly like it at all. The only thing even remotely interesting to me are the horn scnatches and the little caribean interlude in the middle. It doesn't sound finished too me. Its one of teh rare occasion when P didn't produce it enough Dance... Let me see you dance | |

Musically, it's alright, even good. I just can't stand hearing the word "party" over and over in that fashion. I don't find it convincing. | |

ya know, this song is growing on me as well. yes, the lyrics are brain-dead.
And it's still my least favorite track on the album. But... for some reason it's growing on me. It's funky. | |

This song has grown on me. I don't skip it anymore. In fact, I find myself singing that song the most nowadays. This is proof that if you give the album, let alone cetain songs time, they'll grow on you. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |
