So Prince has released his first hit album since Diamonds and Pearls (in the opinion of mass media). I would have to say I've never seen so much attention payed to Prince since then. Magazine covers, interviews, and all things Prince have gotten the worlds attention again. This has to be a huge ego booster. Do you think this will effect him like it did back in the day, or this will humble him? Will it be used to his advantage or will he do something really crazy? last question. Do you also think he'll really never play his hits again on other tours?

3. Other than a "hit" record, nothing has really changed.
4. He will always play some hits when he tours.

All the great ones have egos, whether you see it publicly or hear about it, or not. If not for his ego he would never have been as successful as he became. Same with a guy like James Brown, whose ego dwarfs Prince's in comparison. And take the "last time ever playing his hits" thing with a grain of salt.

He's been through some major life experiences. Losing his parents, losing a child a divorce, and finding God thorugh it all. He's not the same person he was 10yrs. ago. So maybe he sees it all differently this time around.
