no but i actually was fortunate enough to witness prince hit on a girl in person... it was at the rave unto the joy fantastic press listening party in new york... it was the coolest thing id ever seen... seriously he did it just like in purple rain...

it took place in a small auditorium.. Prince had just finished talking to Clive Davis... he walked right past me up the isle to this girl that was seated... he just looked down at her and said "you comin with me?" ... she looked totally shocked... it was obvious they had'nt spoken before... but she had this smile come on her face that said maybe all over it... she responded by saying "i dont know"... eyes all wide... totally contemplating it in her head.. and Prince obviously not one to stand around while someone contemplates... said "forget it" with a totally mischievouss smile... turned around and walked out of the room to the back stage area...

he obviously waited till the very end when he was about to leave...
and yes 5 minutes later she was trying to get back stage to talk to him...

Guilty as charged. I used a bunch of lines from all his early stuff to pick up on women. It always worked better when they didn't know it was from a Prince song, which was most of the time.

The line I got one of the biggest "thank you" for was:

The best one:
