Sticky Wicked Hey Guys!,
Just picked up an old Chaka Khan CD called "the woman I am" There are a few tracks that were written by Prince. The first is Eternity. I have heard Prince's version and I must say it is much better than Chaka's The other song is something called, Sticky Wicked. To me this was one of the best tracks on the CD. It had Chaka on vocal's Prince on drums and bass and Miles Davis on trumpet. Has anybody heard of this track? Is there a version of it with just Prince? There certainly is, but you can't get your hands on it, for love nor money. There were actually two tracks recorded by Prince that shared the title "Sticky Wicked" around the same era but they were very different, both melodically and lyrically. You can get a taste of what one of them sounds like by listening to Chaka's album. As for the other one, it remains shrouded in mystery. . "You don't frighten us, English pig dogs.
