We all think we know best when it comes to Prince's output etc. So I was wondering what each of us would do to change Prince's "weaker" albums (in our/your opinion) to make them "stronger" albums?

Actually what changes would you make period (even to widely agreed stronger albums)

Here's some of my first thoughts:

LOVESEXY
1) Make it tracked!
2) Use the tour programme cover as the Record cover (instead of nude cover)
3) Remove "Eye No" and "Glam Slam"
4) Add "Le Grind", "Superfunkycalifragasexy" and "Bob George"
(note = because I always liked the notion of a side "black" and a side "love")

BATMAN
1) remove "The Arms of Orion"
2) Add "Dance With The Devil"

GRAFITTI BRIDGE
1) Change the cover to a photograph from the era
2) Remove all non-Prince trax (make Prince only album)
3) Remove "Tick Tick Bang" and "Grafitti Bridge"
4) Add "Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic", "Last Heart" and "Witness 4 The Prosecution"
(note = because he used vault trax from that era anyway)

DIAMONDS AND PEARLS
1) Remove "Jughead" and "Push"


1) Remove "Blue Light", "Arrogance" and "The Flow"

COME
1) Remove the AWFUL segues with the crashing waves and poems
2) Remove "Space" and "Orgasm"
3) Add "What's My Name", "Peach", "Pope", "Pink Cashmere", "Interactive" and "Strays Of The World"
(note = should have been released in 93 instead of Hits which I would save for 96)

THE GOLD EXPERIENCE
1) Remove the AWFUL operator segues
2) Remove "319"
3) Add "Days Of Wild" and "Acknowledge Me"
(note = should have been released in 94)

CHAOS & DISORDER
1) Remove that AWFUL rap from I Rock Therefore I Am
2) Add "Empty Room 95", "The Undertaker" and "The Ride" (studio version)
(note = because these were from same period + should have been released in 95)

RAVE UN2 THE JOY FANTASTIC
1) Remove "Rave...", "Undisputed", "Hot Wit U", "Silly Game" and "Wherever U Go..."
2) Add "Beautiful Strange", "When Will We Be Paid", "When I Lay My Hands On U", "Supercute" and "U Make My Sunshine"
(note = I know these were recorded later but they "feel" similar from production pov)

Sure there is more I can think of. What about U?

How dare you.

All of Princes albums are great the way they are. Including their little weaknesses.

Besides, we would run out of threads on prince.org quickly, if all his records were perfect.
