rove really sucks as an interviewer, he managed to get absolutely nothing out of the interview.

But prince sounded vaguely normal. Almost got lost talking about manufactured pop acts/technology, seemed like he wasn't quite sure what to say. And we avoided religion, thank god

Loved the beyonce pseudo dig: as she learns instruments she'll get better (or similar)

well, wasnt really a bad interview, but i dont think it was live...wonder what the deal was there? was good to see prince on aussie t.v and he did say he was looking forward to bringing the musicology tour back to OZ....hell yeah, cant wait for that.....

Rove is an idiot, but at least we got it confirmed that Musicology is coming back to Australia!

well it was just as many of us expected, kind of embarrassing, but yeah, it was good to see Prince on prime time tv.

Rove may not be a great interviewer, but I've always thought that Prince has never been a particularly good interviewee....many of his responses are pretty dull and his muso persona is pretty hard to unveil....I think Rove did well to get a smile out of him with the lagerphone gags.

He always says he'd love to come here again but I would personally be very surprised if it was anytime soon.

The interview was okay if a little dull for us fans. Good promotion for the album though.

Yeah I agree.
I cringed a few times but I thought Rove handled it well.
Prince seemed pretty relaxed and looked cool.

well i just saw it. Great to c P on our aussie tellies over here. Shame about Rovie, he looked like some dumb kid who just did his research a day or two prior to the interview (which he probably had handed to him by others). I actually thought, that Rove didn't do a good job at all, and i gotta say that P handled his dumb ass deliveries quite well....as they were stupid as hell. I think i could come up with some good questions...but hey, i am a fan so i should...i wish P asked Rove, whether he actually attended his shows when he was he ...i doubt it.

The only interview down here, which i think could b good, would b if P sat down with Molly, one on one without the audience. Rove was shithouse.
