01. Bad videos... This started with 'Sign O' The Times' and 'If I Was Your Girlfriend' then reached its nadir with 'When 2 R In Love'. A lot of Prince's videos look like they were made in his garage. Directed by Ed Wood. On Acid.

02. The N.P.G. band of the 90s... They weren't a band - they were just a group of musicians. I know everybody singles out Tony M but there were other offenders... I can't stand Rosie Gaines and I'll never understand Prince's fascination with her. She sounds like she needs to cough... and don't get me started on her "scat" singing.

03. Talk of "Whitey"... I'm not getting into this, but this is definitely a "nooooo!" for me.

Nothing can beat the horror when I saw the cover pic of Newpower Soul for the first time.

Having said that, it's also pretty disturbing to see "Emancipation" being sold at the biggest record store of the city for mere 7 euros for the 3CD set - they've been there on an equal discount since 1999 and haven't sold out even to this day.

Hmmm.... There was a lot of times Prince made me freak out. For example: Around the World in a Day. Having still been so enraptured by the hard rock/funck/R & B of the Purple Rain album, the song ATWIAD was just too bizarre.

Okay, the topic at hand, the lecture Prince spill(ed)/(s) on his websites Love4onenother, and NPG. Wow how many times did he infuriate me with those freaking essays. The rapping was a nightmare - he just doesn't have the voice. Marrying mayte. You have no idea how many times i started bawling when i thought about it. Finally Larry Graham and the Jehovah Witness. I appreciate him respecting his mother's wishes but they have killed a part of him that is no longer in his music.
