All I know is that I was at that show and it was amazing. For starters none of us in the crowd expected an opening act let alone the time so when that happened. WHEW!!!! They were great even though every one I know that has seen them plays says they do the same show over and over again. Still I loved them. That much being said as good as they were. Prince on that stage that night was amazing. That is why they are donig a 3rd show at phillips because he easily sold out the first two. This is a great time to be a Prince fan. Hell anytime is a great time to be a Prince fan but this sure is a lot of fun and validation.
Peace THE CARDINAL HAS SPOKEN!!!

I'm surprised the guest appearance by the Time hasn't sent more shockwaves through Prince fandom. I haven't seen them and I would love to at least once - but more importantly, when was the last time they opened for him? The Purple Rain tour or after that? Parade tour at the latest I would guess. This is like a return to those heady days, a great way to celebrate the anniversary of Purple Rain almost as much as getting some of the original members of the Revolution back would be. It's a shame they aren't opening for him anywhere else.
