I thought about the newness of some of the tracks compared to how many have grown on me and no I don't think I was harsh on the new ones, thats because I graded not just on the fact that I liked the new music. Here's a few matters of enjoyment that I considered when grading.

Living proof...
Thats why Musicology is trully such a dud... no real chatter about the album.

Whenever a new album comes out. you hear tons of cheers and jeers about the tracks...
but this time around.. There is no buzz about this bore..
All we see is off the cuff posts over and over again from the same
ranting about how great this outdated flop is.. but no reasons why they think so.

I've spoken with dozens of Prince fans on the net (out of the org) and most confirm that
the entire album is a stinker. But at the same time.. the 2001 Music Club tracks (and ONA) get raves in comparison!
