Love your enthusiasm, but it doesn't matter. P has Aiken "beat" by light years already.

Oh, I completely agree. In my mind, P is THE best of the best and Aiken doesn't even enter my mind AT ALL, EVER when I think of music or musicians. This poll totally doesn't "matter", its just been fun to get the troops together to achieve a common goal in the name of PRINCE - get me? wink

Gotcha. Good work, BTW.

Now, as I understand it, there's a Democrat that needs some help. If you can bring 30,000 votes to Prince, how much would you charge to bring 30,000 to him?

thumbs up!

You know what? I have been so dismayed by politicians and politics in the past, oh I'd say 8 years, that everytime anything comes on TV or the radio about the election I turn it off. I love living in a democracy and all and I'm glad that we have the right to vote for our leaders, but at the same time I am suffering from some MAJOR apathy - Dems and Reps are both driving me nuts and all the name-calling and blame-gaming that goes on now in elections just turns my stomach. For the first time in my life, I am considering not voting in this election.....I know its wrong to do, but I just can't stand it anymore!! You know? Who cares what Kerry or Bush PROMISES during their campaigns - they rarely do what they say anyway, so why even listen to them when you can't allow yourself to believe any of it! Hate to sound like a commi, but this is how I am feeling right now sad

This two-party republic is really a huge Hegelian conspiracy (thesis vs. antithesis) so that the real leaders of this world can lead us fabianistically to their preplanned synthesis. No way we can break it unless we first decide to not take part in either party. Last I heard, about half of us Generation X'ers are registered Independent for this reason. I doubt much will change; though, they'd like us to think so. I think we just gotta do what we can do in our own little worlds. At least here we can make a difference which will hopefully spread into others' lives -- like a splash of water that ripples out -- keep the vibe alive!

In late April: There was an interview with Prince, who is giving a concert this Thursday in Knoxville in the Preview mag, that comes in the Friday edition, they were asking him what he daydreamed of, he responded by saying quote"Clay Aiken not holding back on the funk"

Apparently, Clay has been performing a slowed-down funkless version of "When Doves Cry" at his concerts.

I was kinda jokin', but I hear you and Jasziah. It's hard to get things done policy-wise without real consensus or a crisis that clearly defines a course of action. Why? Our branches of government are constantly at cross-purposes, for reasons I won't get into tonite.

I just came back from the concert and man oh man, is he mighty!!!!
