This might be old news but I recently had to replace my LOVESEXY CD, anyway I noticed the normal 'The songs have been recorded in a continous sequence' etc on both the CD case and actual CD, but to my plesant surprise the CD has actually been tracked perfectly. I heard that the German? edition had the same treatment on release, good that they have done the same here (UK) - although I know Prince wanted it as one track but it is a pain in the ass.

I've had this tracked edition since 1998, ever since it became a mid-price album.

I bought the first 1 track album years ago with a big discount because the store thought the CD had a defect, hahaha

Never included in the The Works series are fade out edits, like the 7” version of Escape.
Glam Slam and Alphabet St. were included because their edits were especially remixed (Glam Slam) or divided in two parts (Alphabet St.) to fit the 7”. The 7” edit of Alphabet St. has an echo at the end.

All recordings come from original sources except 11, which came from a copied source.

Yeah, the European version of Lovesexy has been tracked since about 1996 when it
went down to a mid-price release.
