I lost my father last year and persuaded my Mum to have it played at his funeral.

My Mum is not a Prince fan but once I played her the song she agreed straight away.

There was not a dry eye in the house. Prince you touched my whole family man ! Thanks - the song means so much to me and is obviously very personal to you too.

2 songs affected me deeply.

Sometimes it Snows in April was so moving that I had it played at my father's funeral 6 years ago. All I have to do is hear a couple of bars and I'm bawling like a baby all over the place. I guess because Prince died at the end of the movie and I just associated that song with the death of "love."

Adore will always be the ultimate love song in my book. I am just a sucker for that song. It will definitely be played at my wedding reception.

Mountains - really listen to the lyrics! It chokes me up everytime! It got me through hard times in school!

One of them is " I Wish U Heaven" and another one " Right Back In My Arms" and...

I wish u heaven 4 me had two meanings the ending of a relationship but wishing him the best that life and love could offer.The next one is 4 my grand father who is no longer here. Purple rain is a soul shaker I will listen to that song and just zone out .

All of them i guess,different songs for different moods.
It depends what is going on in my life.

If all of Prince's songs didn't affect me in some way I probably wouldn't love him so much. However, emotionally these songs do it for me every time.

because it was the first song I heard of Prince and through that I:
1. learnt many other (Prince) songs that did affect me.
2. found a huge source of other damn good music: Sly, James, George, Al Green, Curtis and these guys also has songs that affected me.

My heart bursts when I hear his music, because he plays and sings with such emotion and feeling.

[Sometimes it Snows in April].....i was going thru a breakup with my first real girlfriend, and that song got me through some rough times. "All good things they say, never last....and love, it isn't love, until it's past" Just beatiful!!

All, of Prince songs inspire me he knows the situation, whats happenin in the world and whats wrong with it.

ANIMAL KINGDOM - This song was immensley infulential to me. It was the main reason i became a veggetarian. Prince loves animals so much, and he too is a vegetarian.

MY NAME IS PRINCE - This song is so intense, and tells of what most people want and signifiys the wrongness of this.
