"Sweet Thing"

In a Guitar Player magazine a few years back, Prince mentioned that his main influences on guitar were Hendrix, Santana and Rufus/Chaka guitarist Tony Maiden...I can see him up late at night back in '76 practicing the intro lines to "Sweet Thing"...

The night before you posted this he was playing Sweet Thing in B'ham during his acoustic set. The crowd sang all the verses while he sat back and played. Finally he said "That's what I remember when I was in High School".
