Prince's album Lovesexy is incredible.

I've never been a fan of "Glam Slam", but I do enjoy the instrumental parts at the end. With the advent of home-ripping/editing/burning softwares, we've finally been able to dis-assemble it. I broke it into eleven tracks:

Eye No
Alphabet St.
Glam Slam
Glam Slam Jam
Interlude
Anna Stesia
Dance On
Lovesexy
When 2 R In Love
I Wish U Heaven
Positivity

My fellow fans, what do you think about this heresy?

I absolutely love this album too!

I got an official release tracked european version and then copied it with replacing I wish U heaven with the full 3 part version and then Glam Slam remix and This is not music this is a trip added to the end. Works well.

Wanted to include Scarlet Pussy but it sounds more like a Black album track. Should have been on there instead of When 2 R in love. That song is Pure Lovesexy!

Lovesexy was the first Prince album I ever bought (on cassette, later upgraded to CD). It still might be my fave.

I got instructions for breaking up the tracks (from a past thread on this forum), haven't got around to trying it yet myself, but I plan to...so you won't find me calling it heresy! I look forward to having a "tracked" version of it.

I need to "track this cd too,cause I never listen to it.

I finally dug it out again after all the raves on here, and I just don't get it. I love Eye Know, Alpha St., Dance On, like When 2 R in Love, Anastesia....the rest, eh.....Glam Slam is pretty awful. It's just all so, touchy feely.

Now Escape, that works great - I love Escape, definately one of my favourite Prince tracks EVER, EVER.

I bought mine with 11 tracks.

I have the original USA pressing (1988)it is Super Rare !4 along time it was only made 4 djs.Then a few years ago Germany made a pressing I bought one of them also.The sound is good-BUT 4 some reason the USA pressing sounds better.The Germany pressing is always on e-bay 4sale.Don't be fool!The Germany Pressing is worth $25.00-The USA pressing is VERY RARE $150.00-$225.00!peace out!

I had all of his albums on vinyl and the 12" singles, too. They were ripped-off by a "friend", and sold, presumably.

The money sounds nice, but I would love to hold them in my hands again. All of my Prince albums, played once, recorded, and wrapped in plastic.

Sign 'O' The Times had some great 12" x 12" inserts.

Why seperate it into 11 tracks?
The album has 9 tracks on it, why seperate Glam Slam into 3 tracks?

If you really felt the need to split the album into more than 9 tracks,
Then you might as well seperate Alphabet St. into 'part 1' and 'part 2'
as well seperating the 'Spirit Child Intro' from the beginning of Eye No.

When I got my first MP3 player I separated this album into the individual tracks and stayed up till 4am making a MP3 disc with 200 P songs. Now I can't even fit all my P songs onto a single MP3 disc.
