Some people think that we each have a soul mate, just as some believe that Vanity was Prince's first love, while others think it was Mayte (as Prince seemed openly convinced of).

Do you believe in having a soulmate?
Do you think, as some say, that they do have one although they are not with that person, and probably never even wind up being with that one person in this lifetime?

Yes I believe in heving a soulmate. I did allways talk with him in lonley, starfull nights. Or in warm and cold days.

I feel something in me no one can be able to to give me around me, but I know this feels are existent, my thoughs are shared. Then I let it flow... and I do meet my soulmate. We arn't together phisical..., but I know HE IS and he knows that I AM. Maybe, no, I'm SURE we will met eachother, one day... my soulmate and me... so I hope it is in this life... but latest in GOD's REIGN! -

We are all on this earth looking for our "other half" to make us complete...after all, isn't that what life is all about?

As a child growing up in a home where I was misunderstood, I learned silence; as a rebellious teen struggling to not conform, I ran away from my parents upper middle class home often. They never listened when I told them I was running to something. As a young adult I married for 14 years to a man with no depth and no clue. Finally divorced in my early 30's with a chronic back injury and that is when I had shut myself off from the world. I lived secluded for over two years with only my two boys and my pain to remind me I was still alive. THAT IS WHEN I MET MY SOULMATE. A maintenance man, who came to my tiny home to fix my plumbing. He saw my lonliness when I was too emotionally weak to realize I was lonly. We have been together for 4 years, and have custody of his biological children, so in all we have 4 children. And it has been very hard for us to learn that we really do LOVE eachother. Now we share so much of our lives and feelings, that for the past year I have remembered so much of my past, and all the feelings of seclusion I had, only now I have my SOULMATE with me and he loves all of me. All those years of my little lost girl and my hurt teenager have all come out of me for him to Love. And when I since the young boy in him that was abused so badly that he used to hide in a dog house, I am there with him to hold him and his lonliness FOREVER. I would never try to guess who was Prince's soulmate. Only his heart could tell....But I am delighted in knowing I have one.....

I believe in soulmates. Everyone has one. Whether you're lucky enough to find them in this life or you have to wait until the next, you will be with him or her someday. i am my own soulmate.

I met my soulmate 2 years ago while I was married. Everything--good, bad, tragic--I had gone through and everybody I had relationships with IMMEDIATELY made sense to me when he and I met. In a word, it was powerful. I was being prepared specifically for HIM. Nasty Prince songs didn't sound so nasty anymore--just necessary!

...and he regards Prince flippantly! What's THAT about?
