Also, the wrong version of Crucial ended up on Crystal Ball.

The one with Eric Leeds' saxophone was the genuine article and really ought to have seen the light of day, instead of P's "electric" take. A full-lengh version of the song would have been nice too.

And why, o why, did we end up with an "acapella" version of "An Honest Man"?

It bears no resemblance to the gorgeous piano instrumental that opened the Under The Cherry Moon film.

At least the aberration on Crystal Ball was mercifully brief...

It's not Chinese algebra, g.
Judging from his casual urban get-up, I assumed isthisdadawn to be a Jughead/Mr Happy kinda guy. That's all.

My guess:

1) Mayte gave her angels to Prince.... guess not because now they're gone.
or
2) "And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light" (2 Cor 11:14).

edit: oh well, i over-guessed it. LOL

I can' say I was surprised. Those dudes are mostly soft-centred cry-babies underneath all that unrefined wolves clothing, lol

WHERE ARE WENDY & LISA ON THE TITLE TRACK?!?!?! OR DREAM FACTORY FOR THAT MATTER?!?!?!??

For those of you who can't get enough of this project I suggest you get hold of Thunderball's "Dream Factory" 2CD set.

It doesn't have the best-sounding (or even complete) versions from the Dream Factory sessions with Wendy and Lisa and the rest of The Revolution, but it's a good place to start exploring that particular era.

At least Thunderball's version is more complete than Sabotage's single CD edition.

I agree. Though I saw another described online as being a wee bit better...I think it came out is a response to the TB one (I think someone thought that though it was a good effort to replicate, it could be a tad bit better.

The TB version CD2 is interesting. I dismissed it for a long time, but there's some good stuff (and not so good) on it.

The TB version CD2 is certainly an eye-opener (for starters, it lists the wrong songs on the printed side of the CD, like "La La La, Hee Hee Hee"...wtf???) and sadly carries incomplete versions of the likes of "Big Tall Wall" and others.

I understand T produced his own version of the Dream Factory album. I hear it's superb and pobably the one to go for if you're really concerned about sound quality.
