What do you guys think if Prince would do some type of unplugged special with him in a sweater and just instruments jamming away or even doing a concert special on HBO or Showtime like Janet Jackson, would that not be cool and open a lot of people eyes on Prince'a abilities.

I've emailed Prince for years about this. Just Prince and maybe a few other musicians reworking his songs doing covers, can you imagine how big that album could be? It would definitely get him many new fans as well. My father just became a Prince fan after I played him "Five Women" off the vault. He didn't know Prince had that blues style in him.

Highly unlikely, as Prince wanted to do this back at his last peak as a celebrity (during the Diamonds and Pearls era) and back when Unplugged was still running regularly on Mtv. The show might air twice yearly now and it would be very unlikely to court Prince considering their non-relationship with him in terms of getting a simple video played.

Damn...one of my MANY wishes is for this to actually happen. Just a whole accoustic set of Prince being Prince.

Or, like Lenny Kravitz did with "Story Tellers" for VH1. That was cool.

Eye would luv 2 c P on MTV Unplugged, he would sound awesome, he's such a natural when it comes 2 singing, the man has a fantastic voice.

Sounds like a fly idea, but highly unlikely with MTV considering their rocky past. I'd say it would have to be more of an HBO kinda thing. Would not miss it for the world!
