There was a big discussion on the NPGMC about Prince throwing one of his rings into the crowd in Reno.

Well, I was watching The Art of Musicology and saw something I hadn't seen previously. Right before he started the acoustic set, he took off one of his rings, and pretended to throw it into the crowd. He then looked at the camera in a joking and knowingly playful way. I wonder if there's a connection?


Also, I just love how open and friendly he is now. I'm so happy that he's happy.

It's been noted before that he doesn't necessarily wear a ring where his wedding ring would be during the acoustic set. It could be that he removes it and transfers it to his other hand - to avoid any awkward contact with the strings or fretboard.
