Cool - as this is without concert give-aways, we now know Prince actually sells records in the good ole wrackastows again... I'm pretty sure I read a Billboard article that said his sales figures did indeed include the concert giveaways... Can anyone say which is right?

The deal is that the CDs that were given away prior to the release date are not being counted (I can't recall why). However, the only CDs that are being counted are the ones that were given away after the official release date. Reece

Reece This is true that the ones given out prior to the release date were not counted because the official street/release date had not come yet so the first concert to count was the one on the 21st (I believe the date was). Otherwise, from here on out, they will count, which is out of the ordinary by far, but pretty cool and original (as far as I've heard). I am MrVictor....

Guys, these are CANADIAN numbers. They don't have anything to do with Billboard or the U.S. Soundscan numbers. They DO NOT include the concert "sales" from the U.S.

No clarity necessary. If you take a look at the original question from which this conversation evolved, it has nothing to do with Canadia. Hello.
