That may not be true.... Next week's chart will include 5 tourdates, assuming average admissions of about 15,000, that's 75,000 in sales. Musicology could drop off as much as 40% next week because all the hardcore fans always buy in the first week. If it does, that would be 103,200 in scans. Add in the concert tickets and you have about 180,000 in sales. Not bad, but it may not be enough to beat Usher (or Winans) if they continue to have strong weeks...

Plus don't forget there's that new Diana Krall album - not sure how it's selling but I would imagine pretty well....

it's still #3 at amazon - I think the special this week will help 2nd week sales. What other new albums are out this week?

The thing that's going to hurt is that Prince isn't getting near the radio airplay the other top selling albums are getting.
