I really could see him hosting some kind of variety show with songs and skits. Like the Sonny & Cher show. Lots of dressing up in silly costumes and stuff.

He was great on the Muppets Tonight show.

I wanna see him make more of his own movies! But yeah, I could see him on tv or costarring in a movie. It'd be awesome!

I just saw the Muppet show with Prince for the first time yesterday. It was great! biggrin

As lovely as he is to look at...NO to both.

Let him stick to concentrating on what he does best - MAKING MUSIC.

Prince is majorly gifted and talented, but not at everything.

nod I think since he likes 2 play Practical Jokes,he should have a show dealin' wit that. He plays'em on famous/regular pplz or sum his bandmates. I'd tune in every night 2 see that, giggle

Proof of him bein' a PJer...

• DAVID Z: Prince is a great practical joker. We were all staying in the same house, and one night Tommy Vicari was out with his girlfriend. We took some of Owen's clothes, stuffed them full of leaves. Prince put a knife in the back of this shirt and we laid it on the floor of Tommy's bedroom. Tommy comes home about 4, 5 in the morning, and he flipped out. We were downstairs playing Pong. We laughed our asses off.

• OWEN HUSNEY: Prince and Andre were jamming at a music store in San Francisco, and members of Santana's band invited them to meet Carlos. We open the door: It's an all-white house with all-white carpeting. Carlos says, 'Come in, please. Please take off your shoes.' I said, 'Prince, you gotta remove your boots.' He said, 'I don't remove my boots for anyone.' He walks across the carpeting and I see this trail of mud, and I'm cleaning up the mud while they're in there talking.

One day Prince comes home [from the recording studio] all excited because he met Chaka Khan. She called up and asked, 'Is Sly [Stone] there?' Prince happened to answer the phone and he said, 'Yeah, baby, this is Sly. Do you want to come down?' About two hours later -- this is like 2 in the morning -- she opens the door and sees Prince. She says, 'Where's Sly?' He goes, 'Ha, ha, ha. That was me.' I guess she cussed him out. And irony of ironies, she has one of her biggest hits a few years later with one of his songs.

• DAVID Z: We took a tiny squirt gun to a fancy restaurant in Sausalito. Prince and I are sitting there with Owen and Tommy Vicari eating dinner. Every once in a while, we'd take turns -- we were kids, OK? -- shooting the squirt gun in the air so it was dripping onto some table 30 yards away. The people would look up in the air and wonder where that was coming from. We'd do weird, childlike stuff. To me, that was funny. You don't expect him to be like that.

-Chapter 1 from Star Tribune(Contribution 2 Prince)

Now I haven't seen GB but if it's bad as ya'll say it is(which I'll find out this summer when I get the DVD biggrin) then only interviews & comedy(playin' PJs on pplz) is all I'd like 2 see him do.

Prince should not count Graffiti Bridge ( was that spelled right?) and make a good sequal to Purple Rain- like Purple Rain 20 years later or something.

I don't think so. I can't see him as anything other than Prince( the musician) For him to be an actor, at some point he is going to have to wear normal clothes and have a normal haircut. I can't picture that. I wish he would do some movie scores though.

hey, i watched graffiti bridge last night, and i have to say it's not that...well, yeah, it is pretty bad. yet the scene where jill jones pulls down her red skivvies is priceless. THE LOOK on The Kid's face is right up there with brando.

since purple rain got its own funky sequel, i vote for a sequel to UTCM: The Return of Christopher.

other than that, just let ol' boy play his music...we can leave the teevee for all the jim belushis, bachelorettes, average joes, and all those other ham n' eggers.

When I was pregnant with my daughter, I went to see Graffiti Bridge. I left in the middle of th movie because I didn't want the horror on the screen to affect my unborn child. TRUE STORY. My girlfriend thought I lost my mind but I got the fuck out of there....I was a psycho pregnant though..... confused

Prince can't act ya'll BUT hosting SNL maybe funny or even Dave Chappelle.

Um....the only movie or television thing that Prince should do is a concert. I love him like a play cousin but I refuse to explain to other people in the film and television industry that I work in why Prince actually made 3 films.

I dont have the strength. All I say is: Why did Elvis make 30? Dont ask me stupid questions.
