I am listening to Dirty Mind right now.
Incredible Album. I bought it after I became a fan in 1983 I love it, and Controvery. "What's the hurry 2 die without tryin?

I remember that era.In 1980,Prince was the baddest MF out there.In my area,only "Uptown" received substantial airplay on our R&B stations,but there was a huge buzz about the 'Dirty Mind' album.Everybody was talking about it.That was a great time to be a Prince fan because he was this "underground" artist.He was like OUR little secret that the rest of the world wasn't hip to...lol...I miss those days too,but no need to despair.Simply take the 'Dirty Mind' CD out,play it loud and reminence.

It was a great time!But time and music goes on!!There are many BOOTlegs out there and lots of outtakes 2 bring u back 2 those days!!!
If he was still making that type of music 2day he would not had lasted 25 + years!!! I love those days also-HE WAS SO BAD!!! | |
